Very easy/ fast prep time.
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chicken gumbo soup
1 soup can of water
2 cups uncooked long grain rice
1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
1 whole (cut-up) chicken
Mix soups, water and rice. Pour into a 9 x 13 greased pan. Sprinkle 1/4 pkg onion soup mix on top. Place chicken pieces on top of rice mixture. Sprinkle with remaining onion soup mix on chicken pieces. Cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 2 hours.

I just made something very similar. If you don't have chicken gumbo or cream of mushroom soups, use cream of chicken soup, 1 7/8 c. (weird i know) water, only 1 c. of rice with the dry onion soup. Pretty good! Again, works well for kids.
